Overview

The Zentura Home vSeeBox V5 Pro driver solves a problem that normally ends with a handheld remote left on the coffee table: the vSeeBox has no IP control, no serial port, and no way to enable ADB — it only accepts a Bluetooth remote. This driver pairs with a small Raspberry Pi Bluetooth hub that emulates that remote, so Crestron Home can drive navigation, transport, channel, and number keys over the network.

In Crestron Home the box appears as a standard Cable Box device with the familiar remote layout on every touch panel — D-pad, Guide, Info, Menu, Back, transport keys, and a full number pad. One hub can serve more than one vSeeBox, with each driver instance targeting a specific box by its Bluetooth address.

Features

  • Native Crestron Home Cable Box device with the standard remote layout
  • Full D-pad, Guide, Info, Menu, Back, and Last navigation
  • Transport control — play, pause, stop, skip, and scan
  • Channel up/down and a complete number pad
  • One Raspberry Pi hub can drive multiple vSeeBoxes
  • Full Crestron Home Sequences programmability
