Frequently Asked Questions

Zentura Home drivers are distributed as .pkg files that must be copied directly to the processor's third-party driver directory at /user/ThirdPartyDrivers/Import. Use either of the methods below.

Option A — Crestron Toolbox (File Manager)

  1. Launch Crestron Toolbox and open Tools → File Manager (Ctrl+F).
  2. Connect to the processor with administrator credentials.
  3. In the remote pane, browse to /user/ThirdPartyDrivers/Import.
  4. Drag the .pkg file from your local machine into that folder and confirm the file size matches.

Option B — SFTP (WinSCP, FileZilla, etc.)

  1. Connect to the processor via SFTP on port 22 with administrator credentials.
  2. Navigate to /user/ThirdPartyDrivers/Import.
  3. Upload the .pkg file in binary mode and confirm the transfer completed.

Once the file is in place, open the Crestron Home Setup app, go to Pair Devices → Drivers → Platform, and add the driver. If it does not appear, reboot the processor and try again.

For first-time deployments, refer to Crestron's current Crestron Home documentation for the exact path on your OS version, or contact support.
